Robert F. Renaldo

Robert F. Renaldo,77, of Plainfield Township passed away June 4, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Easton on August 25, 1946, a son of the late Anthony P. and Josephine A. (Brescacin) Renaldo. He and his beloved wife and soulmate Nancy (Armitage) Renaldo were married 49 years on November 30th. He was a 1964 graduate of Pius X High School. He served in the US Army Stationed for three years in Pirmasens Germany during the Viet -Nam Era. He retired as a Credit Manager for Hanson/Lehigh Cement Heidelberg Group. He was a member of Our Lady of Carmel Church, Roseto, where he was a lector at the 8 AM Mass for over 40 years. He was past president of the former Holy Name Society of the parish. He was a former Police Chief for the Borough of Roseto. He was an Eagle Scout of the Roseto Scout Troop 36 where he received Scouting Ad Altare Dei Religious Award and a member of its drum and bugle corps. A Gold Card Life member and 56 year member of the Martocci-Capobianco American Legion Post 750 of Roseto. He was Past Commander (2 years), Adjunct and Finance Officer of the Post and Secretary Treasurer of its Home Association for many years. He was also a member of Post’s Society of Baffone Club. He was Past Finance officer of the 30th District American Legion and Past President of the Northampton County Past Commanders Association. You could always expect a joke from Robert… whether good or bad,, mostly bad. He leaves one piece of Advice.. If you smoke, quit… COPD/EMPHYSEMA is hell on earth: not only for you but especially for your loved ones. There is no reversing COPD. He loved his children and grandchildren and great grandson. In addition to his loving wife Nancy, he is survived by Five sons, Matthew and his wife Kristin and their children Michael, Grace and Noelle, Adam and his wife Gretchen and their children Christian and Chloe, Philip and his wife Kelly and their children Cassandra, Jaykub, Jailie, Dante and Dylan, Edward and his wife Kristin and their children Corrine, Kylee and Mason, Andrew and his wife Kelly and their children Noah and Adelyn and a great grandson Pierce Robert, a Brother Anthony of Roseto. Many nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister Angela Julio. Family and friends may call on Friday June 7, 2024 from 6 to 8 PM ONLY at the Fiore Funeral home 230 Market Street Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday June 8, 2024 at 11: 00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Third & Garibaldi Avenues, Roseto.
