Aurelio Falcone

Aurelio Falcone, 86, of Bangor, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025. Aurelio was born in Roseto Valfortore, Providence of Foggia, Italy, on July 24, 1939, the son of the late Filippantonio and Maria Grazia Sbrocchi Falcone. His beloved wife for 59 years, the former Annette Martocci passed away in 2020. As a young man, he migrated to Toronto, Canada, with his brothers and sister. He later became a U.S. Citizen, married Annette, and they resided in Roseto, PA. He became a tailor by trade. After an apprenticeship and a few years of practice in the trade, he opened his textile business, Girl Fashions, Inc., specializing in women’s garments. After owning and operating Girl Fashions for over 20 years, he transitioned into the restaurant business. He owned and operated Capital Plaza Pizza for twenty years until his retirement. Aurelio was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a loyal parishioner. He leaves behind a legacy of devout faith, a steadfast work ethic, regard for tradition, and immense love of family He was a devoted member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Roseto. Aurelio is survived by a daughter, Maria Sabatino, and her husband, Patrick, of Pen Argyl, and sons David Falcone of Bangor and Craig and his wife Christine of West Chester, Pa, grandchildren: Lauren and Matthew Bennicoff, Alexa and Luciano Burriesci, Kayla and Anthony Salisbury, Joseph Falcone, and Luke Falcone, great grandchildren, Aurelio Burriesci, and Liam Bennicoff, a bother Joseph and a sister Rose Finelli both of Toronto, Canada. A brother, Nick, passed away earlier. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, located at Third & Garibaldi Avenues, Roseto. There will be no calling hours. Entombment will follow in the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Roseto. Services are under the care of the Fiore Funeral Home, 230 Market Street, Bangor.
