Michael "Mose" A. Davanzo Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Michael A. "Mose" Davanzo, 85, of Bangor, PA, passed away Saturday, January 23rd in the New Eastwood Rehabilitation, Easton. Michael was born on March 5, 1935 in Roseto, PA, a son of the late Joseph and Maria (Filingo) Davanzo. His beloved wife for 60 years former, Leona Mack passed away on July 1, 2018. Michael was a member of the Operating Engineers # 542 of Philadelphia for over 60 years. He was caring and loving father and grandfather and enjoyed working on all types of machinery. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Roseto, life member of Slate Belt Shooting Association and the Portland Masonic Lodge NO 311 F&AM. Michael is survived by two sons, Michael A. and his wife, Dawn, of Bangor, and Joseph D. and his wife, Georgeianna, of Columbus, NJ; 10 grandchildren, Michael, Serena, Joseph, Georgeianna, Alexandra, Sherry, Anne, Michaela, Charles, Donato and Joseph; a great-grandson, Jackson, and two sisters, Donna Davanzo and Carmeline Curtolo. He was predeceased by a daughter, Marie; a grandson, John; a brother, Donald Davanzo, and a sister, Marie LaBate. Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be a memorial service at a later date.
