Mary Falcone

October 9, 1925 - January 21, 2022

Mary Falcone, 96 of Mt. Bethel passed away Friday January 21st at home. She was born in Washington Township, PA, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Carmela (Altieri) Falcone. Her beloved husband for 60 years John Falcone passed away in 2006. Mary had worked as a seamstress in various garment factories in the Slate Belt Area for many years. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Mary was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church Roseto and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Father DeNisco Council 3862 and UNITE- the garment workers union. She is survived by a son John Falcone of Bangor and a daughter Susan Falcone of Mt. Bethel, grandchildren; Staci George and her husband Robert, Nicholas and his wife Karin, Tiffany Strunk, Nichole and her husband Travis Dotter, and great-grandchildren; Melissa, John, Jennifer, Cameron, Zole, Natalia and Reylyn. She was predeceased by six brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday January 28th at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church Third & Garibaldi Avenues Roseto. Family and friends may call on Thursday January 27th from 6 to 8 PM and on Friday January 28th from 9:30 to 10:30 in the Fiore Funeral Home 230 Market Street Bangor. Visitors are encouraged to wear masks and keep social distancing. Entombment will be in the Family Mausoleum in the New Catholic Cemetery, Roseto. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be offered in Mary’s name to Slater Family Network 187 Five Points-Richmond Road Bangor, PA 18013.
