Ronold Karasek Jr

Ronold J. Karasek, Jr. of Bangor, PA passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 21, 2024 at the age of 46. Ron was born on January 28, 1978 to Ronold J. Karasek, Sr. and Denise Snell (nee Conger). Growing up, Ron attended Catholic school and graduated from Pius X High School in 1996 where he played football and wrestled. He also graduated from HVAC Technical School. He was an Altar Server for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, Roseto, PA; and, he attained the rank of Life Scout with Boy Scout Troop No. 36, Roseto, PA. Ron was a Jack-of-All-Trades and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was an HVAC Technician who started his HVAC career with James Febbo and Sons, Inc. of Pen Argyl in 1998. For the past seven (7) years, he found his true HVAC Family at Emrick Plumbing and Heating, Inc. of East Bangor, PA. Ron was active in the community where he coached his son’s baseball teams until the son’s last year with the Slate Belt Baseball Association. Ron held the Vice President position and Equipment Manager for that association. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Ron also dedicated himself to his community over the last fifteen (15) years as a firefighter and was current Captain of Rescue Fire Company No. 1 of Bangor, PA. Ron joined Rescue Fire Company No. 1 following in the footsteps of his Father-in-Law, Larry Lobb, and with the sole goal of having Mr. Lobb be proud of him. Ron also held additional roles with the Fire Company as 1st Lieutenant, 2nd Lieutenant, Operator of Fire Truck Nos. 3011, 3021 and 3041. He was a life-time member of the Fire Company and was also a Company Trustee who held many committee positions. Ron’s true passion was in sharing his fire-fighting skills, knowledge and assuring the firehouse was always ready not only for the next call but to also assist others in their time of need. Ron his enjoyed his yearly salmon fishing trips with his buddies. He loved watching his children play sports, especially his son, Cooper, on the football field. He was beyond proud of his daughter, Addison, with her academic success. He is survived by his wife, Krista, with whom he celebrated twenty (20) years of marriage on September 17 of this year; his Father, Ronold J. Karasek, Sr. and his wife, Kimberly, and his Mother, Denise Snell; and, his children, Addison (age 18) and Cooper (age 14). He is also survived by his Mother and Father-in-Law, Larry and Barbara Lobb; his siblings: Zachary Karasek and his wife, Eleni; Courtney Karasek; Nicholas Karasek and his fiancée, Cheyenne; Kaitlyn Karasek and her fiancée, Nicholas; Morgan Karasek and Josh Snell; his brothers-in-law, Scott Lobb and his wife, Megan; Derek Lobb and his wife, Kristen; his nephews and niece, Cole and Bryce Lobb, Broderick, Luca and Keegan Lobb and Margaret Karasek; and, his fur babies, Bear and Doug. Ron was loved by many from co-workers to friends to, of course, his family. Family and Friends may call on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at The Washington Social Hall 920 Washington Blvd. Bangor with services at 1:30 PM. Burial will be in the New Mt.
